I'm finally able to post at least one picture of the inside of our little apt. Here is a picture of the living/dining room. Yeti takes up half of it when he lies in the middle of the floor. Of course this is when I think it looks the best, and the cozyest. I wish it always looked this clean.I didn't get to take pictures of the rest, so you'll have to wait till tomorrow. I'll send you a picture of the kitchen then-if I get around to doing the dishes.

Last weekend I was at an airshow they host out here every fall at the Mirimar base.I included a picture of the stealth plane It flew an event in the airshow, which was pretty sweet. It confuses enemy radar detectors into thinking it is the size of an eagle. I guess it is part of the new generation of planes they are now develping.

We apprehended a bag full
of grapes from a family in our church. They have a garden, grapevines, and like 16 fruit trees growing in their backyard. We decided to make grape juice out of them...It turned out really yummy, but we only got a quart of juice out of a whole bagfull of grapes!

By the way, anyone who knows about this site can see posts. I'm not sure if there is a way I can make them private or not. I'll check into it. For now, Miss, I think you are the only one who looks at it.

I've been meaning to call home lately. It's just hard since I'm never quite sure what kind of reaction I'll get and what will happen. I fight the hurt, and try to forget. I often think of the fall season there and what you guys will be doing...walking through the big woods, fishing in bog, and enjoying the resort that now echos the busy season past. The water on the lake is a dark color now and the air is crisp. Enjoy the fall together! We don't get it here.

I miss you and
love you,

Ola,
Miss, I think you are the only one I've told about this project yet. I haven't even heard back from you yet, so I don't even know if you know about this page.

Anyway, I had zero time to clean my apt today, so you get no pictures of the fur balls that infest my place constantly. I have to vacuum like everyday to be at all satisfied with how it looks.
Instead, like today, I wind up doing my best trying to ignore it.

So, instead of apt pictues, I present to you a picture of me at the tidal pools at Point Loma. (Yes, I have seaweed on my face. I was wondering what I would look like with green hair.)There is a national monument there and a beautiful view overlooking San Diego. By the time I got to that part of the view though, my battery had died. Bummer!

I went to the Bible study and out to lunch with Lee (the lady I went to take care of today). It went ok (thank you for asking). She is very wealthy, so it was a treat to go out with her to the inn she usually goes out to lunch at. She seemed very alert today, though she repeats herself so many times. She constantly tells me stories of her past. She was the founder of Community Bible Study. The very same Bible study that President Bush was saved while attending. He personally wrote her a letter thanking her!

Well, I'm off to bed. Miss, I hope that I'll hear from you soon. I'm praying for you.

Hi,

I decided to create this blog to let my family know how much I love them and miss them everyday. Alot has happened between us recently and I personally hurt so deeply that I have trouble communicating with them.

I don't want them to continue to feel as if I am a total stranger to them. I know they must have alot of questions about what I'm doing right now. I know I have alot of questions about each one in my family. In myheart, I do not believe that the obstacles between us cannot be overcome or prayed through and addressed as the time comes.

Anyway, this is #1 blog of many that will let you know what is going on in my life. First off, the picture is our little place looking from my parking spot down by the road. We're actually living on the second floor on the right hand side. I'll have to clean a little then send pictures of what it looks like from the inside. Yetti and Lenny (the dogs) have "watered" that little bush on the corner so many times that I am really surprised that it is still alive!

Well , this is going to be all for the night. I have to get up early tomorrow, since I am going to watch a lady with alzheimers tomorrow morning. I take her to a Bible study then take her out to lunch. This will be my first day alone with her. I hope things go smoothly!

I have so much to say, and so much on my heart. But, I'll post again tomorrow. I love you very very much.

Danielle

By the way, you can post replies as well, if you want to that is.
